Batch Plant Manger - Groote Eylandt

GEBIE Civil and Construction is seeking an experienced Batch Plant Manager to oversee concrete production, delivery scheduling, stock control, safety, and daily site administration. The role requires strong knowledge of concrete mix designs, experience with computerised batching systems, solid communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure, with civil construction experience and an HR licence seen as advantages. Offered as either a residential role on Groote Eylandt or FIFO from Cairns or Darwin, the position includes generous leave, quality accommodation, and access to excellent facilities, with residential staff receiving housing and vehicle use and FIFO staff receiving premium lodge accommodation. Plumber (R&M) - FIFO

GEBIE Civil and Construction is seeking a full-time qualified Plumber to join its team, working across a broad range of maintenance, construction, renovations, solar hot water, and septic system tasks. The role involves liaising with supervisors, quoting jobs, ensuring compliance and quality control, maintaining tools and equipment, and delivering work safely and professionally. Applicants need a relevant trade qualification, at least three years’ experience in Australian repairs and maintenance plumbing, experience in new housing work, Simpro familiarity, an NT plumbing licence (or ability to obtain one), plus a current driver’s licence and construction card. This FIFO role operates on an 18/10 roster from Darwin or Cairns and includes a strong benefits package, with five weeks annual leave plus a Christmas shutdown, an annual bonus, and premium accommodation with meals at the Groote Eylandt Lodge. Sundays are non-workdays, giving you time to enjoy the island’s coastline and fishing spots, with access to recreational facilities and a supportive work culture.
